Even those who have received help from an eating disorder clinic in Sacramento may find they are still affected by the burden of feeling unhappy with their weight and appearance. A new study from the University of Utah and published in the International Journal of Eating Disorders shows that the battle is not over specifically for female adults who have suffered through an eating disorder in their younger years.
While the long-term health side affects for Anorexia and Bulimia are known due to much research, there is a lack of research when it comes to non-health related long term side effects. That is, until the university of Utah decided to find out if there were any socioeconomic consequences affecting men and women into their early adulthood due to eating disorders.
